Open pit mining processes

As part of the Mining Processes course, students continue to develop integral and special (professional) competencies, personal and professional skills, namely: organizational and technical prerequisites for the development of project documentation for mining operations, analysis of mining and geological conditions, features of the use of equipment of a new technical level for the extraction, loading and transportation of minerals along the mine workings of the enterprise, management of the state of the rock mass.

The following course/module was developed at the Dnipro University of Technology (Ukraine).

Learning outcomes / Competencies

To be able to form a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to substantiate the optimal parameters of technological systems and technologies of open-pit mining for specific mining and geological conditions of mining enterprises, to apply information technology to process and analyze the results of design, to evaluate the results of implementation.
