The basics of technical representation and selected areas of descriptive geometry are covered: Types of representation, multi-sheet projection, penetration and development, introduction to standardisation, tolerances and fits, shape and position tolerancing, working with a CAD program.
The following course/module was developed at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
Learning outcomes / Competencies:
• Students have understood the basic context of technical drawings and are able to visualise simple technical objects.
